Where our prices come from

Different numbers on this site come from different places, and they do not mean the same thing:

• Market price — from the Pokémon TCG API, reflecting TCGplayer data. It is an algorithmic estimate for an ungraded card, not a quote.
• Recent sales — sold comparables from Silph Co Analytics. These are real completed transactions, but the sample is small for most cards and is matched by card name and number, so it can occasionally mix printings.
• Listing prices — active asks from the eBay Browse API, grouped by grade from the listing title. These are what sellers are asking, not what anything sold for. One optimistic listing can make a grade look far pricier than it trades for.
• Tokenized floor prices — public listing data from Collector Crypt, Courtyard, RIP.FUN and Beezie. We are not those platforms' pricing authority and cannot guarantee a listing is still active or available at the displayed price.
• Crypto conversions — listings priced in crypto are converted to USD at public spot rates at the moment we ingest them. The figure is an approximation and drifts from the live cross-rate.

What we will and will not put a value on

We deliberately publish a sold-based value only for raw (ungraded) cards, and only where enough recent comparable sales exist to support it. Where they do not, we fall back to the TCGplayer market estimate and label it as such.

We do not publish a value for graded cards. The sold-comp data available to us is far too thin per grade to state what a PSA 10 is worth without inventing precision we do not have. Anything shown against a grade on this site is a live asking price, clearly labelled as such. Treat the gap between asks and sales as real: asks are opinions, sales are facts.

All prices are a reference, not a quote

• Updated periodically — data can be several days old and may not reflect current conditions
• Medians, floors or estimates that may differ from actual transaction prices
• Exclusive of shipping, taxes, marketplace fees and currency conversion
• Highly dependent on condition, grade, printing, seller and demand

Card Shopper is in beta

The Card Shopper picks cards automatically from your budget and preferences. It is experimental, algorithmic, and reviewed by nobody before you see it. Suggestions are not recommendations, endorsements or advice, and a card appearing there says nothing about whether it is a good purchase for you.

Prices shown are the cheapest listing recorded at the chosen condition at our last sweep, excluding shipping. Listings sell and get relisted constantly, so the page you land on may show a different price or nothing at all. Each suggestion displays how old its price reading is — check it, and check the listing.

Price alerts are best-effort

Watchlist alerts depend on third-party data and on email delivery we do not control. An alert may be delayed, may be based on stale data, or may not arrive at all, and a deal may be gone before you open the message. Alerts are a convenience, not a trading signal, and not a service level we guarantee.

Not financial or investment advice

Nothing on PokéPrice constitutes financial, investment, tax or professional advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any card, token or asset. Card values fluctuate significantly and past prices are not indicative of future values. For significant decisions, consult multiple sources and use your own judgement.

Games are entertainment only

PokéDraft, Deal or Rip and the Daily Pack Rip are free games. They involve no payment, no wagering and no prizes. A simulated pack opening does not create or transfer ownership of any real or tokenized card, and simulated values are not winnings. Scores and leaderboards may be reset at any time.

PokéPrice contains affiliate and referral links to third-party marketplaces including eBay, TCGplayer, Collector Crypt, Courtyard, RIP.FUN and Beezie. When you click these links and complete an action such as a purchase, we may earn a commission, referral reward or other compensation at no additional cost to you. Rewards from on-chain platforms may be paid in cryptocurrency or platform tokens.

These relationships do not influence our price data, rankings, search results, or which cards the Card Shopper suggests. Platforms are featured on usefulness, not compensation.

Tokenized cards and blockchain risks

PokéPrice links to third-party platforms (including Collector Crypt, Courtyard, RIP.FUN and Beezie) offering tokenized Pokémon cards — physical cards held in vaults with ownership recorded on a public blockchain. We do not operate these platforms, hold any cards, or facilitate any on-chain transaction.

Buying, selling or holding tokenized cards carries risks that do not apply to ordinary card purchases, including:

• Platform risk — if the operator fails or a vault is compromised, recovering the physical card may be delayed or impossible
• Smart contract risk — the code recording ownership may contain bugs or be exploited
• Custody risk — losing access to your wallet or seed phrase can mean permanent loss
• Liquidity risk — tokenized markets can be thin, and floor data on low-value cards is often unreliable
• Regulatory uncertainty — on-chain trading of physical goods is a developing area of law
• Redemption terms — shipping the physical card to yourself is subject to each platform's fees, timelines and geographic limits

We do not verify any platform's custody, authentication or insurance claims. Read each platform's own terms, understand the risks, and start small. Nothing here is a recommendation to trade tokenized cards or crypto assets.

Third-party websites and data

We link to third-party sites including eBay, TCGplayer, Cardmarket, Collector Crypt, Courtyard, RIP.FUN and Beezie, and consume data from third-party APIs including the Pokémon TCG API, Silph Co Analytics, the eBay Browse API and CoinGecko. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, security, accuracy or availability of any of them. Visiting third-party sites is at your own risk.

When interacting with on-chain platforms you are additionally exposed to phishing, wallet-draining contracts and fraudulent imitation sites. Verify URLs directly, and never share your seed phrase or private keys with anyone — including anyone claiming to be us.

Availability

We aim to keep PokéPrice available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, upstream API outages, or factors beyond our control.
